Back Extensions
Exercise Focus:
lower back

Exercise Instruction:
Lay face down (prone) in a back extension (Roman Chair) machine or on a Swiss ball. If on a Swiss ball have someone hold your legs or move feet against a wall for support. Lower your upper body towards the floor until your head is almost on the floor and then pull yourself back up until the torso forms a straight line with the legs. You will round your back in the exercise so if you have preexisting low back conditions you may want to omit this exercise.
